PATHWAY CONNECTION

As part of its pilot efforts, Brookdale Community College launched a cohesive suite of non-credit and credentialed training programs designed to bridge students into LPN and RN nursing programs. This included offerings in CNA, CHHA, and PCT training, as well as refresher courses for previously licensed professionals. Brookdale also partnered with Home Helpers of Monmouth County to train CHHA candidates who were preparing for employment.

By creating intentional on-ramps and expanding access for underserved populations—including adult learners—the pilot supported 107 students across all programs, laying a strong foundation for scalable nursing pathway models across the state.
