More than 150,000 individuals work in manufacturing occupations. With the trend towards job reshoring of manufacturing, New Jersey’s geographic location, skilled workforce and infrastructure, New Jersey is expected to see modest growth in manufacturing even as technology continues to change the skill needs on the sector.
