PATHWAY CONNECTION

Brookdale Community College developed non-credit training programs that serve as on-ramps to careers in nursing, offering certifications as a CNA, CHHA, PCT, and RN Refresher. These short-term training opportunities are aligned with employer needs and articulate into Brookdale’s LPN and RN programs, providing students a clear pathway from credential to degree.

In addition, Brookdale introduced a Math for Medication course to support student retention and academic success. The course covered challenging concepts such as dosage and IV calculations, with 64 nursing students participating. In total, 107 students completed non-credit healthcare credential training as part of this pathway connection.
