Executive Summary
In Spring 2024, Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) piloted its Dental Administrative Assistant Program as a 10-week training course. Ten students enrolled in the initial cohort, which included both high school seniors and adult learners. Despite a brief pause due to a network disruption, eight students returned to complete the course, and seven earned the nationally recognized Dental Office Assistant Certification.
The strong interest in the program led to the development of a waitlist for future cohorts. Additional sessions are planned for late 2024 and early 2025, expanding access to this valuable entry point into the dental profession.
