Executive Summary
Brookdale Community College supported adult learners re-entering the healthcare workforce through a comprehensive RN and LPN Refresher Course. This program included theoretical review, CPR certification, case management, and clinical rotations in hospital settings. Participants practiced infection control, documentation, and medication administration under the supervision of licensed RN preceptors.
This pathway connection equipped more than 32 adult learners with the skills and confidence needed to return to direct patient care roles, reinforcing the critical role experienced professionals play in meeting healthcare workforce needs across the state.
