PATHWAY CONNECTION

To expand training access and meet immediate workforce needs, Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) developed three non-credit programs: a Dental Administrative Assistant Program, a Dental Radiography Program for unlicensed assistants, and a High School Introduction to Dental Assisting course. Each program offers short-term training aligned with industry standards and credentialing requirements.

The Dental Radiography course has received approval from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and will begin pending installation and inspection of instructional equipment. All non-credit offerings are structured to prepare students for employment or stack into further academic study. RCSJ is also pursuing PLA credit to enable students to translate their learning into college credit toward future degree attainment.
