PATHWAY CONNECTION

To bridge academic knowledge with hands-on industry exposure, UCNJ Union College organized a series of experiential learning opportunities for students in its Business and Supply Chain programs. Twelve students visited four Red Trucking warehouses, where they engaged directly with operations leaders, including the company’s COO. The visits deepened students’ understanding of logistics, warehousing, and transportation systems. Additionally, a panel of industry professionals shared career pathways and insights into supply chain roles such as inbound logistics, purchasing, and customer service. These initiatives broadened student perspectives and reinforced the practical value of their studies.
