An IET program is an education model that combines occupational skills training and basic academic skills instruction to increase and expedite the educational and career advancement of adult learners. IET programs combine education and job skills training necessary to transition adult learners beyond adult basic education and through a career pathway that affords them job training and gainful employment. Specifically, UCNJ integrated contextualized  English language instruction with its Essentials of Supply Chain Management training program which includes instruction for 4 SCPro Fundamentals industry credentials and job development/placement services.
