Executive Summary
County College of Morris developed non-credit coursework aligned with the SACA C-101 Certified Industry 4.0 Associate I credential to meet workforce demands in industrial automation. These courses were designed to provide foundational skills for careers in modern production environments and serve as an accessible entry point for learners seeking to upskill or shift careers.
As a member of the Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA), CCM mapped curriculum content to SACA certification standards, enabling courses to culminate in credentialing assessments. The first set of non-credit courses was delivered in Summer 2024 and served both new learners and those preparing to transition into credit-bearing certificate programs or apprenticeships.
