Executive Summary
County College of Morris is expanding experiential learning in robotics and automation by developing internship models and work-based learning aligned with SACA credentials. With support from an advisory board, the college is defining job placement readiness standards and identifying employer partners for internship opportunities.
Internship placements are supported by CCM’s Career Services, which monitors student performance and employer outcomes. Industry engagement remains a critical component; with many employers not yet deeply invested in robotics despite their planning goals, the college is working to broaden its reach into adjacent sectors with emerging needs for automation skills.
