Executive Summary
County College of Morris created a new 19-credit Certificate of Achievement in Robotics, Automation, and Control, designed to provide students with foundational and technical skills in industrial automation. The program includes newly developed lab courses—Robotics and Automation I & II—which serve as both technical electives and capstone experiences for the certificate.
The certificate program integrates SACA C-101 and C-102 Associate level certifications, ensuring that program outcomes are aligned with industry standards. This credit-bearing pathway prepares students for immediate workforce entry while allowing for stackability into a future Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Engineering Technology with a robotics option currently under consideration.
