Executive Summary
Sussex County Community College (SCCC) is enhancing the early career pipeline into the Machine Tool Technology pathway through targeted opportunities with regional high school partners. Through a series of workshops offered in Spring and Summer 2024, students earned a credential from Tormach, an industry leader in manufacturing and CNC machining.
These efforts are designed to introduce students to machining and advanced manufacturing while enabling them to earn both industry-recognized credentials and college credit before graduating high school.
