PATHWAY CONNECTION

The Summer Institute for Data Science engages high school students in a non-credit, exploratory learning experience. Students participate in interactive sessions focused on real-world data science technologies and applications.

Using tools like R, Python, and Tableau, participants explore topics such as AI-generated images, song modeling using decision trees, sentiment analysis, and data visualization. The program was intentionally designed to target younger students to inspire interest in data science early in their academic journey.
