PATHWAY CONNECTION

This pathway connection focused on creating and aligning for-credit college-level data science courses to support dual enrollment opportunities. Camden County College, Middlesex College, and County College of Morris collaborated on the internal development and approval of three core credit-bearing courses: Data Literacy, Introduction to Data Science, and Introductory Python Programming.

The curriculum was designed to meet both academic standards and workforce relevance, with each college adapting the courses for their own offerings. Through frequent collaboration and joint planning, the colleges developed a shared approach to course content and delivery. These courses are fully aligned to ensure students who complete them in high school receive seamless credit recognition at the partner colleges, strengthening the pipeline from high school into postsecondary data science programs.
