The Precision Agriculture Using AI Drones project represents a model partnership between Camden County College and Rowan University, demonstrating the power of integrated learning pathways between two-year and four-year institutions. This collaboration created a seamless bridge for student advancement, leveraging institutional strengths to enhance both academic and applied learning.

Through this partnership, community college students gained access to university-level research facilities, expert faculty mentorship, and opportunities to collaborate on high-impact projects in precision agriculture. Rowan University students, in turn, benefited from the hands-on technical experience and applied perspectives brought by their community college counterparts. The project created a unique interdisciplinary learning environment where students from diverse academic backgrounds worked side-by-side to solve real-world agricultural challenges.

This partnership extended well beyond the classroom. Students from both institutions co-developed and piloted AI-enabled drone systems, participated in collaborative field testing on regional farms, and jointly presented their findings at major academic and industry events. The success of these activities highlights the importance of coordinated cross-institutional learning models that prepare students for seamless academic transfer and career advancement.
