Professional development was a cornerstone of this project, equipping faculty to teach emerging cybersecurity topics aligned to industry needs. Faculty across the three colleges received training and certifications in:

• Linux+ (both certificates)
• Cyber Healthcare (HCISPP)
• Cybersecurity Legal and Regulatory Compliance (CGRC)

Additional training included:

• RCBC faculty participated in AWS Architecting training (January 2024) and CompTIA Network+ (Spring 2024).
• RVCC faculty attended the Cisco Live (June 2024) and CompTIA (July 2024) conferences for up-to-date industry exposure.

These efforts ensure instructors are credentialed and current, enabling high-quality delivery of the new certificate programs and ongoing capacity building.
