PATHWAY CONNECTION

To support the launch of the new Cybersecurity certificate programs, ten three-credit courses were developed across the partner institutions. These courses are aligned to industry-valued credentials and the NICE Framework. They are delivered in face-to-face, HyFlex, and asynchronous online modalities to increase student accessibility.

Courses include foundational topics like Networking, Linux, Cybersecurity Fundamentals, and Cloud Computing, with associated certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, Linux+, Cisco CyberOps Associate, and Microsoft AZ-800. The instructional content includes full syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments, and was aligned across institutions to allow for easy transfer.

This cross-institutional collaboration enables students from any of the three colleges to take courses at partner institutions and transfer them seamlessly to their degree or certificate programs.
