PATHWAY CONNECTION

Professional development was a central element in ensuring the successful launch of the dual enrollment program. Faculty from each college created and delivered training sessions and resources for high school teachers, enabling them to effectively teach the newly developed data science courses.

Workshops and one-on-one support took place from April through July 2024. These sessions covered curriculum delivery, pedagogical strategies, and alignment to college standards. College faculty also engaged in professional learning, refining their own instruction and remaining current with trends in data science education. This dual approach ensures quality and consistency across both high school and college instruction.
