PATHWAY CONNECTION

This pathway connection introduced high school students to data science concepts through non-credit engagement opportunities. The project team developed and delivered presentations—called Power of Data—targeted at high school students, counselors, and administrators across the three participating colleges. These sessions were designed to spark interest in data science and promote awareness of related career pathways.

By reaching students early, especially in urban and underserved communities, the project helps build equitable access to future dual enrollment opportunities. These introductory efforts lay the foundation for student engagement in more advanced coursework and support the broader goal of expanding the data science pipeline in New Jersey.
