PATHWAY CONNECTION

The Bloomberg Fintech Project began as a pilot program engaging 20 students in hands-on financial training using Bloomberg Terminals. Through this pilot, students developed portfolios, conducted financial research, and completed all eight Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) modules embedded into their Economics coursework.

The pilot demonstrated immediate impact—students earned industry-recognized certifications, participated in global trading simulations, and interacted with industry professionals. These successes provided proof of concept for scaling the program across more courses and student populations. The pilot also served as a model for how Community Colleges can quickly adapt to emerging industry trends and integrate high-value tools that prepare learners for the Fintech workforce.
