Executive Summary
At Essex County College, the Bloomberg Fintech Pathway integrates Bloomberg Terminals into credit-bearing business and economics courses, giving students applied learning opportunities in financial research and analytics. Students enrolled in Principles of Economics I (ECO 101) and Economics II (ECO 102) earned Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) certifications through embedded coursework.
Students in advanced 200-level courses further expanded their knowledge by incorporating Bloomberg tools into projects spanning accounting, business, finance, and supply chain disciplines. These classroom experiences connect directly to in-demand industry skills, preparing students for internships, job opportunities, and transfer pathways into four-year programs.
