Executive Summary
Experiential learning is at the heart of the Esports Production Content Creation Hub, providing students with real-world opportunities to apply their skills in esports production, digital media, and event management.
Camden County College partnered with Brookdale Community College and Atlantic Cape Community College to explore curriculum sharing and cross-campus engagement. These partnerships contributed to the creation of the GSE SJ Intercollegiate Cup—the first in-person, intercollegiate esports league in the nation—offering students hands-on learning in event production, content creation, and media coordination.
The event brought together five colleges and universities and hosted competitions at multiple venues including Camden County College, Stockton University, and Brookdale Community College. Local high school students also engaged alongside college students, enhancing the learning ecosystem.
These authentic experiences not only reinforce academic learning but also build professional portfolios, develop transferable workplace skills, and connect learners directly with industry professionals.
