Executive Summary

Through the Aseptic Processing Pathway Project, education partners finalized a non-credit aseptic processing curriculum to serve as a foundational training program for entry into the biomanufacturing field. Raritan Valley Community College developed a modular non-credit certificate program for an Aseptic Production Associate, while Middlesex College completed the design of its Aseptic Technique Level 1 course. Mercer County Community College is planning a mobile training lab and cleanroom to expand access to this instruction.

These offerings are designed to provide accessible, workforce-aligned training for adult learners and career changers. The non-credit programs emphasize hands-on learning using cleanrooms, mobile labs, and simulation equipment to prepare participants for high-skill roles in sterile manufacturing environments. Instruction is guided by input from industry partners to ensure alignment with current workforce needs.
