Executive Summary
To strengthen statewide access to esports education, Camden County College began building 1+1 pathway models with other New Jersey Community Colleges, including Brookdale Community College and Atlantic Cape Community College. These efforts support the seamless transfer of coursework into Camden’s Associate of Applied Science in Esports Production (ESP.AAS) program.
Camden County College, which offers the only 2-year degree in esports production in the mid-Atlantic region, worked with institutional partners to review and align existing curricula and explore the development of new esports-focused courses. This ensures that students from other colleges can enter the ESP.AAS program with credit for prior learning and continue their academic and career pathways without duplication.
This work lays the foundation for scalable statewide adoption of the ESP.AAS degree and promotes collaboration across institutions to build consistent, industry-aligned esports programs throughout the state.
