PATHWAY CONNECTION

Professional development was a critical component of the Esports Production Content Creation Hub, ensuring that educators across sectors were prepared to deliver high-quality instruction aligned with industry standards in esports and content creation.

Camden County College hosted multiple professional development activities throughout the project, including sessions for guidance counselors and faculty at both partner and prospective institutions. These sessions increased awareness of esports as an academic and career pathway, provided curriculum guidance, and supported adoption of esports programs in schools across the state.

A highlight of these efforts was a statewide symposium held during the GSE SJ Collegiate Cup Finals in May 2024. This interactive event brought together K–12 educators, higher education partners, and industry professionals to explore esports program models, share best practices, and build relationships across the education and workforce ecosystem.

By building educator capacity and sparking institutional engagement, the project helped ensure long-term sustainability and growth of esports pathways statewide.
