Amazon Partners with New Jersey Community Colleges to Move Closer to Reaching its “Upskilling 2025” Pledge
March 3, 2022, Trenton, New Jersey – The New Jersey Council of County Colleges (NJCCC) today announces a partnership between Amazon and New Jersey Community Colleges where Amazon will fully-fund tuition costs for its front-line employees. This is part of Amazon’s national Career Choice initiative to meet its “Upskilling 2025” pledge - a $1.2 billion commitment to upskill more than 300,000 Amazon employees by 2025.
In New Jersey, front-line employees will have access to the following Community Colleges:
- Camden County College (Camden City and Blackwood Campuses, The Rohrer Center)
- Hudson County Community College
- Mercer College (James Kerney and West Windsor Campuses)
- Middlesex College (Edison and New Brunswick Campuses, Perth Amboy Center)
- Rowan College at Burlington County
- Rowan College of South Jersey
